1st Message

Wohoo... I'm finally moving on. And that brings along a new blog. The old one has been abandoned for a good while. This time I am switching to English as I want to expand the target group :) I still do try to cherish my native Finnish which is a wonderful and very expressive language. It is quite a priviledge to be fluent in a language that only a tiny fraction understand. Speaking about such a thing... I am going be experiencing quite a handful of another such language as I move to the Czech Republic. Yep yep, globalization in all its glory... A Finn traveling to Czech Rep. working for a Swedish customer in an Indian company :) Looking forward to it.

At first I thought, well isn't it kinda lame to just stay in Europe?? But then I came to realize that this is a good way to fulfill one of my goals related to internationalizing myself. That is, to live in an old Central European town that is full of gorgeous architecture. And actually another goal of mine has been to learn (at least at some level) a slavic language. So all in all, I am on the right track here. The other topical dreams, learning to speak fluent Spanish and dance salsa like a true latina, are gonna have to stay put for a while :)

Now, on the verge of graduation, I am thrilled to move on and jump into new adventures. This life is just too short to be staying behind of all it has to offer. I now officially declare a new page being turned in my life.
